FAQ
1 – I haven’t finished my undergraduate degree yet. Can I enroll in the Postgraduate Course?
No.The Postgraduate Course is only for those who have already completed an undergraduate degree. If you wish, in this case, you may enroll in the extension courses.
2 – Is a university degree required to take the PEV-2 course?
No. It is required that:
- Have completed High School;
- Hold a Commercial Pilot License;
FOR AIRPLANE PILOTS
- Hold valid MNTE and MLTE ratings;
- Hold a valid first-class medical certificate (CMA);
- Have at least 500 logged flight hours;
- Have flown at least four different types of aircraft;
- Have completed a Jet Training course or have at least 10 flight hours in a jet or turboprop aircraft
FOR HELICOPTER PILOTS
- Hold valid HMTC and HMTT ratings;
- Hold a valid first-class medical certificate (CMA);
- Have at least 500 logged flight hours;
- Have flown at least four different types of helicopters;
- Have at least 20 flight hours in a multi-engine helicopter
FOR ENGINEERS
For enrollment in the course, the engineer-student candidate must:
Note: Although there are no ANAC requirements for these professionals, they may participate in the course:
- Have completed an engineering degree in the specialties: aeronautical, mechanical, electronic, electrical, computer, software, or another engineering specialty, provided that the student has prior experience in the aeronautical field of at least 2 years;
- Hold a valid first, second, or fourth-class medical certificate (CMA)
3 – Are the Postgraduate Courses registered with the MEC?
Yes, the courses will be registered with the MEC in a short period of time
4 – Are the PEV-2 courses recognized by ANAC?
Yes, the courses comply with IS 61-15D
