Sirius investing in technology for its courses:

Sirius Flight Test BR has started testing the new “Wingbug” and has deemed it approved and qualified for the Flight Test courses. Now our students will be able to monitor and process “Air Data System” information in real time
The “Wingbug” is a portable device with a pitot-static system that will be installed on the aircraft wing to collect and transmit flight data via Wi-Fi to a tablet. In addition to providing the “six-pack” (Airspeed, Altimeter, Vertical Speed, Attitude Indicator, Heading Indicator, Turn Coordinator), the “Wingbug” offers features such as WAAS GPS, ADS-B in, Flight Data Recorder, ADAHRS (Air Data Attitude Heading Reference System), Angle of Attack, and Side Slip

With this device, students will be able to configure the equipment for flight, collect data, and later analyze in the classroom the flight and mission carried out.
